core spun thread

Core spun thread is a type of Sewing thread made by wrapping polyester short fibers on the surface of a bundle of polyester long fibers during the spinning process, and then twisting two or more strands of yarn to form a sewing thread.

Core wire is used for sewing thick and hard fabrics, and smaller sizes of wire can be selected for sewing fabrics that are prone to wrinkling but require good sewing step tension. Core spun thread has a 40% -50% higher tensile strength than short fiber sewing thread of the same size, and has excellent sewing ability that can be used in various manual or automatic sewing machines to reduce breakage and rework.
